Our dream? To create a theatre company that wasn't just about putting on plays, but about igniting a Cultural Revolution, one hilarious play or heart-wrenching performance at a time. Vinay, the visionary, Arun Kumar, the meticulous organizer, Santosh Kumar, the quiet genius and Parthasarathi, the practical grounding force officially birthed VASP Theatre as an Amateur Theatre team. "Amateur" in the sense that they were deeply passionate, wildly enthusiastic, and occasionally forgot to get into rehearsals. But their common goal was as clear as a spotlight on a dark stage: dedicate themselves to Theatre. Fast forward through countless rehearsals fuelled by ' Bajji ' (a South Indian delicacy) and coffee sessions, over 30+ productions, 400+ artists, 300+ performances that ran the array from knee-slapping comedies to thought-provoking dramas, and numerous performances across India. VASP Theatre, much like a well-rehearsed actor, evolved. It shed its amateur skin and emerged as a company, a force to be reckoned with. Our strength lies in taking Theatre to the common man, providing platform for anyone passionate enough to pursue and an amalgamation of trained and new directors - weaving incredible stories. VASP Theatre is no longer a dream of 4, but a dream of all those who have been part of this journey be it on stage, off stage or on the audience seat!
